Vision
To become a leading organisation in socio-economic development in Africa.
Mission
To promote the socio-economic development of grassroots communities by building the capacity of non-governmental organisations in the study, development and management of small income-generating projects.
Core values
Six commitments
These are the standards A.SE.D holds itself to on every contract. They are stated here so a client can hold us to them.
Integrity
What we report is what happened. Findings, numbers and timelines are presented as they are, including the parts that are inconvenient.
Professionalism
Contracts are delivered to the scope, the standard and the timetable agreed with the client.
Innovation
Methods are adapted to the community in front of us. An approach that works in a school will not always work in a village or a prison.
Accountability
We answer for our work to the institutions that fund it and to the communities that live with its results.
Excellence
Quality is judged by whether infrastructure is used and maintained after the campaign ends, not by how many sessions were held.
Partnership
We work alongside ministries, districts, agencies and other organisations pursuing the same objectives, at home and internationally.
